Carlotta Maresca

Carlotta is a lawyer with expertise in civil and commercial litigation and a PhD Candidate at Università degli Studi di Milano and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
She graduated from the University of Milan and continued her academic career by completing a PhD in private international law. Her doctoral thesis is entitled “The Location of Damage in the EU Conflict of Laws: the Case of Financial Loss in the Context of Blockchain Transactions”. She published an article concerning the characterisation of liability arising from abrupt termination of a long-standing business relationship (rupture brutale de relation commerciale établie) and the impact of the judgments of the Court of Justice on French case-law.
