Michele Grassi

Michele is Assistant Professor of International Law at the University of Milan, where he teaches “International Human Rights Law” and “Human Rights and EU Private International Law”.
His research focuses primarily on Private International Law and International Commercial Arbitration. He is the author of a monograph titled on res judicata in international commercial (Il riconoscimento degli effetti del giudicato nell’arbitrato commerciale internazionale, Giappichelli, 2022) and has published several articles on private international family law and on the relationship between private international law and international human rights law.
Michele holds a Master’s degree in Law (2014) and a PhD (2019) from the University of Milan, an LLM from the University of Cambridge (2015), and the Italian national qualification as Associate Professor in International Law (2023).
